Our outreach to churches
The Hendrixes have been based in Lyon since 1975. They have assisted churches in numerous ways throughout French-speaking Europe. They have also been able to help resolve conflicts and encourage church growth on over 30 mission trips to other countries in the French-speaking world.
Marriage seminars and more
Arlin and Pamela have taught hundreds of people about God and have given the opportunity to thousands more. For 15 years they conducted marriage seminars throughout the French-speaking world, and now their sessions are a free online resource.
People sometimes ask: “Do you feel your time in Lyon has been wasted since there are so few members?” We respond: “Not at all. We came to Lyon to preach Jesus Christ. In that respect, the response has always been 100%. Everyone we have taught has responded — either ‘yes’ or ‘no’.”
Commitment to the Francophone world
We do our part of teaching and trusting in God, and he does his. We don’t know how many people have been touched by the gospel. The apostle Paul wrote, “How can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?” (Romans 10:14)
